The First 1000 Miglia Florida Experience is in the Books
The inaugural 1000 Miglia Florida was a success, held from February 22 to 25, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the world of classic and luxury automobile events. This prestigious rally brought together a curated selection of vintage and modern vehicles, embarking on a 1,000-mile journey across the Sunshine State. Participants and enthusiasts alike were treated to a celebration of automotive heritage, culture, and the scenic beauty of Florida.
The event kicked off at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Miami, setting a tone of elegance and tradition. From there, the route led participants through the wild landscapes of the Everglades National Park to Naples, continued through Fort Myers, Venice, and St. Petersburg, culminating the first day in Tampa. The following day, drivers navigated from Tampa to Cape Canaveral, then descended to West Palm Beach. The final leg brought the convoy back to Miami, passing through iconic landmarks of the Magic City before the grand finale.
Participants competed across three categories: 1000 Miglia Originals (vehicles built between 1927 and 1957), Classic Icons (1958–1994), and modern Supercars and Hypercars (1995–present). This diverse lineup showcased the evolution of automotive design and performance, offering spectators a rare glimpse into the past and present of motoring excellence. The event’s success was further highlighted by the enthusiastic public turnout at various stops along the route. In picturesque locations like Venice and the awe-inspiring atmosphere of Cape Canaveral, participants were met with warmth and enthusiasm, creating unforgettable moments for both drivers and spectators.
